This Day in History – April 21-25, Walking With Dinosaurs
How many people can say they survived an encounter with a T-Rex? T-Rex was just the beginning of the dinosaur brigade that invaded INTRUST Bank Arena in April 2010 when ‘Walking With Dinosaurs: The Arena Spectacular’ played seven shows in Wichita.
To say this show was amazing is an understatement. The life-size animatronic dinosaurs were so realistic that some young children burst into tears when T-Rex made her grand entrance. Even adults had to be reminded that they hadn’t been time-capsuled back 250 million years.
The employees that worked this show will never forget it. From the breath-taking scenery to the roar of dinosaurs so loud it required earplugs, Walking With Dinosaurs was one of the most unforgettable events INTRUST Bank Arena has hosted.
